Each of us who make up the Haven Homes leadership team came to be part of this organization through a relationship with someone touched by the pain of addiction — through a loved one, or through personal struggle with addiction and homelessness.

Not one of us, even our president, planned to start a nonprofit for recovery housing. But it fell upon us through our connections. In many ways, because of this surprise beginning, we are all in awe — a constant state of gratitude for the privilege of coming alongside people who are truly pursuing a new life.

We know that addiction is a disease — a complex issue that includes choices, and the decision to live in sobriety comes with tremendous hard work, vulnerability, and a daily, even hourly, decision to be healthy.

We aim to be a beacon of hope, offering a safe haven where individuals can find the guidance, resources, and support to rebuild their lives alongside people who truly understand the journey.
