Phone Interview

We'll begin with a confidential phone interview to learn about your situation and explore whether Haven Homes is the right fit. This is a safe, judgment-free conversation.

Application

Following your phone interview, we'll meet with you in person or send you an application along with a copy of our Rental Contract and Residency Agreement — so you know exactly what to expect.

You become part of the Haven Homes family — supported by your peers and our staff as you build your new life.

Move-In Requirements

We want to make sure Haven Homes is the right fit for you — and that you're set up for success from day one. Here's what we ask of every prospective resident before moving in.

Before You Apply

Minimum 2 Weeks of Sobriety

We ask that prospective residents have at least two weeks of sobriety before moving in. This gives you a foundation to build on from day one.

Committed to a Recovery Program

Residents must be actively committed to a Program of Recovery — including Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, or a similar program.

Sign Our Rental Contract & Residency Agreement

All residents commit to the Haven Homes Rental Contract and Residency Agreement. We'll walk you through everything before you sign — no surprises.

Residents need a dependable, verifiable source of income to cover rent. Income can come from any legitimate source.

Commitment to Random UA Testing

All residents agree to participate in random urinalysis (UA) testing as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, sober living environment for everyone in the home.

We are not your recovery program. We are the bridge that helps you apply your recovery tools in everyday life. There is real power in group living environments.
